A devastating two-car collision on the M6 near Tebay services in Cumbria has left five people dead, including two children. The tragic incident occurred at around 4:04 pm on Tuesday and involved a Toyota and a Skoda.
According to Cumbria Police, the victims include a man, a woman, and two children from Glasgow, all traveling in the Toyota, who were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Skoda, a man from Cambridgeshire, also lost his life in the crash.
A third child from the Toyota was rushed to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle with serious injuries.
